Hunter Thompson once wrote that one should live their life in a style in which they reach the grave “thoroughly used up [and] totally worn out,” looking back with appreciation upon the crazy ride that brought them there.

While I had certainly not yet reached the point of feeling used up and worn out after being on the road for two months, it was definitely a welcomed respite to once again step through the bookcase into the club that has influenced my own personal crazy ride for over four decades.

Even the simplest of encounters like bumping into Zabrecky on my way in and discussing his recent activities, including his new Prime Video special, The Zabrecky Hour, added to that welcoming feeling.
