Four envelopes are mixed by a spectator, and one is freely selected. Each envelope contains a picture of a stuffed toy animal. The animal in the chosen envelope matches a prediction sealed inside a box.
At first glance, this appears to be a straightforward prediction effect. In reality, it is a remarkably clever, deceptively simple, and highly practical method for forcing the contents of an envelope. Alex has used Silent Nite extensively in corporate environments, adapting the images to suit clients and branding opportunities. This is an updated handling of a routine that first appeared in Alex Ray’s German lecture notes, MehrWert (2015).
