A magnolia tree on Remsen Street has started to bloom but a cold wind still cuts down Atlantic Avenue. Shimpei Katsuragawa is nearing his final bow after a triumphant run at 69 Atlantic in Brooklyn. I’m dreading the inevitable—having to say goodbye to my new friend before he travels back home to Nagoya, Japan.
