A couple of months ago, The Magic Circle Vienna invited me and my friend Jan Imhof to lecture for their club—and I immediately accepted. Vienna is always worth a visit: great food, great museums, great people, and, of course, so much magic.
At the famous Wiener Prater, Magic World Vienna—the theater dedicated to magic run by Anca & Lucca which opened a few years ago—has hosted a lineup of world-class performers. During my visit, I had the chance to see, among others, David Sousa.
Vienna is also home to the Circus & Clown Museum, the Magic Theater by Bill Cheung, and the Zauberkasten Museum, which houses a collection of more than 3,000 magic sets.
The magic scene in Austria—and especially in Vienna—is one of my favorites. It’s vibrant, it’s fun, and above all, it’s filled with remarkable people. Every time I return home, I bring back countless memories.
