Her Own Kind of Magic

Meet the talented, piano-playing spirit, who tickles the ivories in the house on the hill.

In today’s social climate of constantly clamoring to be seen and heard, there is a longtime member of The Castle who prefers to remain invisible. You will not find her voice on any of the Academy of Magical Arts or Magic Castle social media accounts, but if you approach her while visiting the club and strike up a conversation, she will gladly play you a song.

I’m speaking, of course, of Irma, The Castle’s invisible piano player who delights members and guests nightly by playing their requests and conversing with them in a musical, sometimes sassy, but always playful manner. She is responsible for many jovial nights of humor, astonishment, and the occasional inebriated sing-along in her own personal chamber within the club.
