Iced tea, please.

I was going to Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina, studying theater, and I saw an audition at Carolwinds amusement park. I’d put together some of the effects that I was doing at the time, and auditioned as a magician. They seemed very interested, but I got a letter that said, unfortunately, that they had no place for me. Then I got a call a while after that saying that their magician at their theme park up in Virginia called King’s Dominion backed out, and would I be interested? I went into it not knowing a lot. I had never even seen anybody perform on the street before. So I was just trying to see what worked.
