The magician shares her niche musical hobby: She plays the shaker egg. She performs a recognizable tune, then brings out an identical Easter egg that makes no sound. She announces a game of “Two-Egg Monte” and tells the audience she will explain everything afterward.
As the monte game starts, the audience keeps its eyes on the shaker egg while the second egg serves as a decoy as the magician switches the cups. The magician cheats the game, then honors her promise and reveals the method: a small Vaseline container filled with beads, hidden in her right hand. The beads create the sound, and the opened eggs prove to be completely silent. After she finishes the explanation, the magician shocks the crowd by cracking both Easter eggs into a glass, where they appear as real eggs.
