The 2025 Milbourne Christopher Foundation Awards

These are awards that encourage "excellence, originality, and leadership in the magical arts." They were created to elevate and maintain conjuring as an artistic endevor.

The Milbourne Christopher Foundation has announced the winners for this year’s awards, which the organization gives out to those who “encourage excellence, originality and leadership in the magical arts and help keep conjuring on a level with the other popular entertainment forms of dance, drama, comedy and music.”

The 2025 award recipients are Leon Etienne & Chelsea for the Illusionist Award; Richard Hatch for the Literary Award; Alex Boyce for the Rising Star Award; Daniel Garcia for the Close-Up Award; Terri Cook, is recognized as this year’s Ambassador of Magic; Steve Valentine for the Masters Award; Connie Boyd for the Award of Excellence; and Alan Watson for the Lifetime Achievement Award. 

The 2025 awards presentation takes place September 6, at the Garde Arts Center in New London, Connecticut. In addition to an award plaque, each recipient also receives a handcrafted wand and a commemorative coin. Congratulations to all winners!
