The magician has a spectator examine the magician’s right-side coat pocket, which the spectator finds empty. As a card is selected and lost in the deck, the magician shows how sneaky tricksters can palm selections from the deck and place them in a pocket. They do this by actually palming a card, showing it, and placing it in their pocket. “See how easy it is?” asks the magician. The spectator points out that the card removed was not their selection. The performer removes the card placed there earlier, shows it, and replaces it in the deck. The performer finally explains that they will do the same thing, using an “Invisible Palm.” “Check my pocket now,” the performer says. The spectator reaches inside and removes the actual selection.
The performer says that they are going to do it again and places the selection back in their right coat pocket. Now the deck disappears and only the four aces remain in the performer’s hands. The spectator finds the deck inside the performer’s pocket.
