Hold on to your watch! There’s a new magic show in New York City, and this one is in Brooklyn’s Carroll Gardens neighborhood.

The show is called Magic at the Clock Shop and is run by magician Greg Dubin, who performs a 90-minute show there several times a week. The theater is hidden behind a fake storefront at 449 Court St., where the unobservant passersby might think the shop, Precision Clock & Watch, is merely a place to repair their time devices.

Closer inspection, however, reveals a ripped piece of brown paper with the following scrawled on it in black Sharpie: “DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY YOUR WATCH!!! Because it’s really a hidden close-up magic theater.”

Dubin started performing there on April Fool’s Day, and as this goes to print it was set to run through the end of June. “ I just started to see all of these magic venues opening around the city and I said, ‘Why not me? Let’s do it. It’s my time,’” Dubin told Gothamist, later adding that the show is “the culmination of my entire life’s work as a magician.”
