Part one opens with the Emptiness Concept, with Avi explaining how his approach to coin magic is driven by an awareness that audiences are getting smarter. Just because they don’t see a palmed coin doesn’t mean they don’t think it’s there. That mentality has led Avi to structure routines where his hands look unmistakably empty, despite holding out. The rest of the video showcases well-known routines that have been leveled up by applying this concept. But be warned, it’s not going to be easy. At one point he demonstrates an effect where he has three coins well under control using a Harada hold. I gave it a laughable attempt, then tapped out.
