The current Champions of Magic—Liberty Larsen, Richard Young, Sam Strange, and Fernando Velasco—were guests on Today in April, where they performed a Houdini-tinged version of Wrapped.
Velasco, after saying he would escape from a pair of Houdini’s treasured handcuffs in 16 minutes (too long!) was ushered into a chair by Young and Strange, with Young switching places with Velasco while Strange’s wrists, after a flash of fire, end up manacled in Houdini’s cuffs. Magic!
Larsen also gave an overview of their show, which was touring in North America through May 2025.
