The Fabiolus magic store in Berlin has been around for 20 years, and the establishment held a celebration this June to commemorate the date. Lucas Grabow sent THE EYE the following account of the event: On June 21, 2025, the Fabiolus Magic Store, named after its owner Fabio Behr, celebrated its 20th anniversary in the heart of Berlin…. It is one of the last remaining walk-in magic shops in Germany and possibly the only one that focuses exclusively on magic, without carrying novelty or joke items. Over the years, the shop has become a key meeting point for both the Berlin magic scene and visitors from across the world….

Approximately 100 guests from all over Germany attended the celebration. The event featured three free lectures, including appearances by Tobias Dostal and Axel Hecklau, both of whom are well-connected within Berlin’s magic community.

The celebration also included a public street magic show, much to the delight of the children who stopped to watch, and an evening show featuring the lecturers as well as guest performers Martin Erman, Zauberer Mike (Magician Mike), Emil Kowalewsky, Clemens Ilgner, Jan Gerken, Fabio, and Siegfried from the TikTok duo Siegfried & Joy.

The store also has a 30-seat close-up theater in the back room, which was added in 2024. There, Fabiolus Magic has hosted many magicians, including Leo Smetsers, Juan Colàs, and Giancarlo Scalia.

The store is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Their website, fabiolus-magic.de, is largely in German, though international shows are also listed in English.
