Another month, and back to my old friend Mike Skinner for a clever, previously unpublished routine where the four aces are inserted into the center of the deck one at a time and keep returning to the top. It’s more interesting than that mundane description makes it sound, and the only sleight necessary is the Triple Lift, while the only technique is the Depth Illusion.
Often referred to as Tilt, the Depth Illusion has a long history. The idea of ostensibly inserting a card into the center of the deck, but actually placing it on top, involves creating an illusion of separation between the chosen card and the top of the deck.
