This is certainly one of the more unusual books I have been handed to review, so your patience is appreciated as I try to frame it in its proper context.
One feature of The Intuitive Magician is that it is written for a very specific target audience. That audience is novice performers who find it difficult to make the transition from practicing magic alone at home, to performing for people in social situations.
