I would love to give you some feedback on your magic script. If you are reading this article, I assume that’s something you might be interested in.
There are a couple of challenges. The first is that I haven’t read your script. A possible second is that you don’t have a written script for me to read—lots of people I work with don’t. Although, just for the record, every show you perform has a script. It may be one that you improvise on stage, or it may be you reciting all the lines from the instructional video, but whatever you say and do are your script. Just because you improvise, doesn’t mean you don’t have a script. More importantly than all that, I haven’t seen you perform. I don’t know how you present yourself, or the style of your performing persona…. And we’ve never met, so I can’t even give you suggestions based on your personality.
Still, I’m going to give you—everyone reading this column—some feedback on your magic script.
