Grandma’s Canisters

I wrote an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond entitled “The Canister.” The show was popular at the time, so I was treated to the experience of being the writer of the most-watched episode of television in the nation the week it premiered. I own one of the props they made for it (it became part of their standing set), so it’s fair to say canisters have been at the forefront of my thoughts for a while.

This trick, its plot, and method, are strong. Yes, you will need to put together a few things to perform it, but there is a joy associated with that process. 

I hope this contribution to the Ring to Impossible Location plot becomes something performed by people other than myself—I really do have an affection for it.
