Do you remember all that sweet, sweet money you made in December performing corporate Christmas parties? When they brought the kids to the office and everyone got presents from Santa? Well, what if I told you that you could do that again in April? And what if I told you that you could do three shows in one day, charge corporate prices, and that that day is a weekday, leaving you open to doing your regular kid shows on the weekends? Now what would you say? You’d say, “Tell me more about this day.”
Well, that’s what I’m going to do. The day I’m talking about is Bring Your Kids to Work Day. It happens every year on the last Thursday of April. And it’s your chance to make corporate money in April, just like you did in December.
Created as “Take Our Daughters to Work Day” by Gloria Steinem and the Ms. Foundation for Women, then briefly called Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day, it is now commonly referred to as Bring Your Kids to Work Day. It was invented here in New York in 1993, so I have been doing these shows for more than 25 years. This year it will fall on April 23, 2026. So now is the time to start selling.
